Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

WOW!  I can't believe it's 2012 already!  My twelve-year-old brother (who just got a Facebook) has been loving updating his status to things about the inevitable apocalypse coming up this year.

This year, Mike and I spent a week by ourselves and then a glorious two weeks with my family in Colorado amongst thrift stores, two feet of snow, family, friends, and snuggies!!  Here's what our break looked like:
We walked around temple square, Salt Lake City

 We sipped Ihop hot-cocoas
We saw the Denver zoo lights in Colorado with the fam

The Zoo had a pet Millipede that my sister Paige apparently loved.  Can't you tell?
We played a lot of "Dance Dance" and "Michael Jackson Dance"with my family
We made Gingerbread houses (out of Graham Crackers)

We all got Snuggies and waited for Santa to come
Mike and I snuggled in our Snuggies

We got 28 movies after my sister visited our pad and saw how 'destitute' our movie collection was.
We kicked booty at Pounce with some of our favorite people on earth

We went sledding and ate chili in the snow afterwards

Besides all of this:
I almost got into a couple car crashes in the thick snow
I read "Harry Potter" and started "Oliver Twist"
I crafted an advent calender, salt dough ornaments, and a coffee filter wreath
We delivered gifts to a family in need
We sang Christmas carols and did a Christmas Eve devotional
My mom and I went thrift-store shopping
We jammed out on Rock Band
We slept in until 11:00am almost every day

Happy New Years!
